Modelo Naciones unidas en New York

Entre el 14 y el 18 de marzo de 2017, nuestros estudiantes del modelo de naciones unidas, representaron a Colombia y a nuestra institución en el National High School Model United Nations celebrado en la ciudad de New York.

Nuestra institución fue invitada a participar en este evento gracias a la experiencia que tenemos no solo en el ámbito nacional sino también en diferentes países donde hemos participado. En el Modelo, nuestros estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de debatir en diferentes comisiones de trabajo como la Organizaciòn Mundial de la Salud o la agencia internacional de energía atómica.

Así mismo nuestros estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de realizar cierre del evento en la sede de la Organizacion de las Naciones Unidas, siendo esto una gran experiencia para sus vidas y que servirá en su futuro educativo y profesional.

From March 14 and 18, 2017, our students David Santiago Torres, Carlos Alfonso Garzón, Laura Valencia, Gabriela González, María Fernanda Escorche, María Lucía González, Ricardo Vélez and Inés Fernández, represented Colombia as well as our institution in the National High School Model United Nations held in New York City.

Our institution was invited to participate in this event thanks to the experience we have not only in the national models but also in different countries where we have participated. In the Model, our students had the opportunity to discuss different work commissions such as the World Health Organization or the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Likewise, our students had the opportunity to close the event at the headquarters of the United Nations, it was a great experience for our students lives and it will help in their educational and professional future.
